Sales Engineer Power Generation - Saudi Arabia

Our client is a global leader in the world of power generation, and sets the benchmark for innovative and environmentally friendly technologies. This group provides turnkey integrated power plant solutions and associated services for a wide variety of energy sources, including hydro, gas and coal.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Sales Engineer, you are responsible for implementing the group’s strategy / goals, including the following main activities:
• Regular plants/customer sales visits, interaction with customers at multiple levels.
• Follow customer-led enquiries but proactively seek to create/identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Work with the Head of Sales to set out an appropriate sales plan to ensure that the sales forecast/budget is achieved
• Prepare, under the guidance of the Head of Sales, quotations / offers / Bids / Risk review
• Maintain Records and files for offers to cover OTC (Offer to Contract).
• Market intelligence gathering and reporting
• Efficient use of company tools and respect of reporting requirements
• Work with the Head of Sales and Coordinate with other departments for orders /contracts booking, contract/ PO execution and invoicing.
• Maintain and Provide periodic reports on contract/PO status and delivery and payment schedules.
• Follow customer complains, discrepancy and warranty cases, keep records (milestones, PAC, FAC, Warranty periods,….)
• Achieve order intake forecasts for the Service contracts and projects in his area.
• Customer follow-up for collection of account receivables and release of bid and performance.
• Provide structured feedback in order to continuously improve processes

YOUR PROFILE
Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
At least 5 to 7 years post qualification “after Sales”: work experience gained in a power plant or in the Sales department of a power service/generation company.
Skills in negotiating with customers of Power Generating companies and handle large & complex power service tenders.
Ability to work and to communicate effectively with teams from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities.
Fluency in English and Arabic, strong written communication is mandatory.
Knowledge and experience in Power Generation parts and services, sufficient technical awareness to interact with customer engineering and operational people are required.
