Cutter Operator - Eastern Province - Saudi Arabia

To operate and monitor the Polyester Chips Cutter & related field equipment and parameters in the assigned areas of Various Polys & as per the standard operating instructions & as per guidance / instructions of Shift Supervisor. REGULAR ASSIGNED DUTIES: • Monitoring of Chips Cutter 1 or 2 machines, parameters & adjusting of various parameters/flow rates as per the quality of chips required or as per instruction of Supervisor. Filed or DCS operator. • Recording various parameters (readings) in the log book at regular intervals as per SHEMS Requirements. • The job will also involve shifting of chips, waste & bags from cutter area to safe designated locations. • Sampling of the Cutter output and analyzing the chips like counting for abnormal chips etc; • Cleaning of Water filters/strainers, Dryer Sieves. • Handling the Equipments with utmost care. • Keeping the Floor & work area in good condition / housekeeping. • Following Safe practices as per company standards. • Assisting field operators during failures & emergencies. • Minimum requirement is reading & writing in English. Arabic will also be an advantage. • The Cutter operator will report to the Shift Supervisor & is required to work for 8 hrs normal duty & 4 hours Overtime TERMS AND CONDITIONS: • Contractor has to supply quality operators based on the requirement mentioned in above job description. • The Contractor to Supply a Complete Set of PPE's to all of his employees when provided. • Only Trained Operators should work in the area, if any new Operators provided by the contractor as replacement or as reliever, then, the contractor responsibility to supply trained operators. • The contractor has to allocate a place for the Operators for their Lunch and Dinner and provide the necessary equipment such as Refrigerator and Microwave and ensure the hygienic condition is well maintained (This will really help to take more inputs from them. 1. Check and maintain all the system of vehicles / equipment as per the requirement of Motor Vehicle Periodical Inspection (MVPI) of Traffic Department which are explained by Engineer / Foreman –In- Charge. 2. Perform preventive maintenance of the work place. 3. Check and maintain the vehicle/ equipment as per simplified preventive maintenance schedule, copy of which is displayed on notice board. 4. Perform the job as per given in the job card. 5. Ensure that the vehicle / equipment is neatly washed/ cleaned and required oils and filters have been changed/ containers of filters must be filled with required oil so that engine doesn’t starve for want of oil. 6. Apply and or inject grease at vehicle greasing points. 7. Ensure fluids / lubricants etc are at proper appropriate levels. 8. Assign in changing engine oil; oil pressure of engine should be measured and recorded as follows, at a temperature (preferably) about 75 C to 90  C and idle RPM about 600 if oil pressure is less than 0.5 KG/CM2 then inform immediately to the foreman / Engineer. 9. Ensure the maintenance of air suction indicator system is working perfectly well.
