Core Purpose of Job:
To ensure all Bakery products are manufactured to fulfill internal customer requirements conforming to laid down quality standards and specifications.
To ensure that all necessary resources are available and utilized in a safe and efficient manner to meet the customer expectations
Areas of responsibilities (AOR)
1. Optimise Bakery product quality to ensure that products meet laid down product specifications.
2. Maximises service to internal customers to meet the Budget of Bakery production plan.
3. Co-ordinate all necessary training of staff to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Optimize product yield and wastage to maximse the contribution of profitability in the dept. line operations.
5. Ensure that localization target numbers are achieved for the department
Qualification
Formal Educational Qualification up to Bachelors Level or Diploma
Experience
5 years experience in a similar position in an FMCG environment
Working knowledge in ISO 9000 quality standards / ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety
Experience in the production of Bakery Products referred
Skills
Computer literate to the level of handling the ability of developing own reporting packages and spread sheets.
Ability to lead and manage multinational work force
