1. Review of chemical/ Catalysts purchased by ADNOC Sub Review the chemicals and catalysts purchased by ADNOC Sub to identify which of the characteristics identified on the material safety data sheets require to be tested / reported to ensure that the material conforms to its technical specification. Liaises with the End Users and materials Engineering Dept to agree on the characteristics that need to be tested / reported and for these characteristics to be included in the relevant requests for Quotations and Subsequent purchase orders. Reviews the level of intervention by the ADNOC Sub appointed Third Party Inspection (TPI) Agency (Either Class 3 restricted to sampling and testing or class 4 with no TPI involvement but submission of manufacturing certificates) 2. Review of Requests for Quotation and Purchase Orders for Chemicals / Catalysts Reviews Requests for Quotation for Chemicals / Catalysts generated to ensure that the agreed Inspection Testing and Certification Requirements have been incorporated and that the level of inspection is correct. Review of purchase orders prior to issue to ensure that the vendor has agreed to provide the required testing/ reporting of the defined parameters. 3. Review of certificates submitted by Vendor Reviews documentation submitted by ADNOC Sub appointed Third Party Inspection Agency or directly through the vender for compliance with the inspection testing and certification requirements of the purchase orders. 4. Support Functions Perform other similas or related duties as assigned, such as assisting the senior QA engineer . Quality Engineer (Mech) and Material inspection Engineer and in their duties
Profile a. B SC in Chemical Eng. or Equivalent b. 8 yrs exp in an oil/gas or petro chemical industry c. Conversant with international codes and standards d Good knowledge of English e. High level of computer skills
