JOB PURPOSE This position is responsible to evaluate, analyze and follow up with new and existing customers. Co-ordination with Commercial and Sales team for payment terms and conditions for the Middle East Sales region. Create customer relationship with the accounts department for payment follow up, and evaluation of the company on timely manner. Provide the management on DSO, Collections, bad debts and past dues and other analysis. This position works with the Financial Controller and proactively report on all customer accounts for the specified region for all Company’s Divisions. 2. MAJOR CHALLENGES • Reduction of DSO and DDSO • Reduction on open credit Payment terms • Ensure Customer accounts reconciled • Ensure statements and invoices are regularly sent to customers • Set weekly target collections, and ensure increase in cash flow
Profile ACCOUNTABILITIES Evaluate Customer Quotes on Payment terms and conditions and provide recommendations Evaluate Customer Financials and provide recommendations on credit terms Follow up of Customer payments and develop relationship with customer’s accounts department Check on the Letter of Credit clauses are as per Company’s Policy Check the clauses for Bonds and Guarantees are as per Company’s Policy Reports to the management on Receivables dues, collections, DSO and recommendation. Prepare related documents for Negotiation for Letter of Credit Coordinate with Credit control Area (ZR03) for orders and invoices blocked Original Invoices and statements along with delivery notes are sent to customers periodically Reconcile Customer Accounts Post Receipts in SAP Maintain Proper Filing of Invoices along with signed delivery notes and Copy of receipts for records Co-ordinate with Customer Service department for documentation and provide reports on outstanding documentation issues. Run periodic SAP reports on Receivables
