Interested applicants please apply to: recruit@webecome.com highlighting current and expected salaries: BRAND PLANNING SPECIALIST Department / Section: Corporate Branding & Media Relations Reporting to: Section Head - Corporate Branding Business Unit: Group Communications A. ROLE & CONTEXT Purpose: To manage the integrity, use and development of the Corporate Brand, for use both locally and globally in order to maximize the reach of the brand. Context: Integrity of the company’s brand is of paramount importance to the company as the market opens up and the group seeks to expand internationally via investment (M&A) activities including new license acquisition. This role has significant impact on customer perceptions via brand communications and media relations. B. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Overview • Coordinate with Agencies to develop creative copy for Ads which include: print, cladding, outdoor. • Coordinate and respond to BU and external parties for fundraising, catalogues, support materials, press events, corporate events requirements (speeches, speaker bios etc). • Create themes, concepts, and writing style for different ads, branding and PR campaigns/projects. • Assist if required to contribute copy to Employee Newsletter/Magazine, Web copy, Press releases, Articles for Customer Magazine, TVCs, Corporate Profiles, creative Jingles for ads, Business letters, Manuals, scripts, Packaging, Annual and other reports • Concept and idea generation for different copy requirements, in addition to managing content writing projects. • Editorial consulting and proofreading to assist teams with proofing, editing, typesetting and other qualities issues. • Develops and implements overall company corporate collateral, such as Corporate Brochures outlining all services, Corporate Video Production in support of M&A activities etc., Annual Reports, and any other such materials which supports the corporate positioning of the company. • Maintain the integrity of the Corporate Brand as outlined in the Brand Book, and aligned to the overall corporate mission statement. • Inputs into the production of a brand strategy and branding campaigns at corporate level to improve brand recognition and build customer relations. • Undertake the implementation of the Brand Road Map in order for the planning and execution of Brand Communication initiatives. • Oversee and provide guidance for all Marketing initiatives emanating from the various Business Unit Marketing functions to ensure they are aligned to the overall Brand Strategy for the company and they adhere to the Brand Guidelines. • Ensure all brand communications and brand media campaigns are executed to the required standards and deliver the required results. • Implement Brand Measurement & Management methodologies, such as Brand Awareness Surveys, Market segmentation, (qualitative and quantitative) across all media (TV, radio, outdoor, above the line and below the line) etc. on a regular basis to determine the Return on Investment of all corporate branding initiatives • Regularly interact with all BU Marketing departments to ensure all BU marketing activities are aligned to the overall corporate strategy, ensuring all stakeholders have bought in to overall plan. • Implement an integrated marketing communications strategy, providing guidelines for the business units in order for them to align their efforts. C. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge • Minimum 8 years experience in a similar role in Branding. • At least 1-2 years of relative experience in a telecommunications company • Excellent understanding of Brand Management and Development & its associated tasks and responsibilities. Minimum Entry Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Marketing communications or similar D.
