Assistant Manager-Waste Management Services-Doha - Qatar

To handle sales, customer service co-ordination and initiate new business opportunities for the growth of the business. • Conceptualize and implement business development strategy to achieve pre-set revenue targets and enhance profitability • Strive to meet and exceed sales targets set by the department within acceptable profit margin while ensuring continuous business improvement and customer satisfaction • Handle key account management with regard to sales, customer service and profitability • Look for new business opportunities through various sources and follow leads provided by other departments • Oversee and authorize Quotations and Job Orders • Ensure department’s sales procedures are being adhered to and copies of all quotations are being safely maintained with related supporting documents • Responsible for sales reports, meetings and management reports • Develop and ensure proper implementation of operational plan for the business unit • Supervise the activities carried out by field supervisors, drivers and helpers to ensure these are aligned to the job description • Ensure proper maintenance of company assets (e.g. vehicles, skips, etc) • Assist to plan and implement operational strategies in liaison with concerned superior • Attend to operational issues at client locations and resolve complaints to the satisfaction of the customer • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and all applicable local regulations • Implement environmentally sound practices and processes • Conduct periodic visits to major clients and address their issues (if any) • Liaise with all local governmental authorities • Carry out proper and timely disposal of hazardous waste generated by different clients while adhering to all local regulations • Assist clients in obtaining necessary approvals and permit from local authorities to dispose hazardous and non hazardous waste • Maintain awareness on competitors’ movements in the market, latest market trends and upcoming projects in the region • Attend business related exhibitions, seminars and public meetings for business networking
