Reliabilty Engineer - Al Ahmadi - Kuwait

Role Description _ - Function independently as a Reliability Engineer for one or more production units with an objective of meeting business plan and strategy by applying Reliability Principles to minimize losses. Achieve Asset Capability and Asset Mechanical Reliability targets with a focus on a long term strategy to close opportunity gaps by developing and implementing unit and equipment maintenance strategies. Apply suitable reliability tools to continuously improve performance of the plant to make it more reliable and profitable. Uses long term cost of ownership and reliability engineering principles to optimize spare parts stock levels in conjunction with the Stores function and other specialists.

Profile Years of Experience : A minimum of 10 years experience in a Petrochemical industry with at least 5 years in the field of reliability improvement or maintenance. Skill Level : Should have a good understanding of the petrochemical process. Should possess hand on experience at the leveraging level on various modules of SAP R3, Weibull analysis, Root Cause / Failure Analysis, FMEA, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance budgeting. The candidate should have good data mining skills of use in all the tools and analysis. Knowledge of Reliability Modeling, Warehouse Sufficiency Tool will be an added advantage. Should have excellent computer skills and display good inter-personal relationships. Educational requirements : Bachelor Degree in Engineering
