The Company has Trading and Manufacturing activities in Textiles, Electronics, FMCG, Engine Oil & Lubricants. With the expansion of their Export Operations, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager with minimum 10 years experience within the Engine Oil & Lubricant industry to promote In-house OEM Brand of Lubricants and to bring job work of other labels in Africa or CIS Countries for client Company's blending plant. General Duties would be to develope his existing customers and contacts & new customers through intensive networking. Develope prospective Customer lists, prospect new Customers, via personal visit, telephone & E-mail, set appointments and meetings with prospects, present information and explain services/ products to prospective Customers. Visit and develope relationships with Local Trading and Manufacturing units. Submit Weekly and Monthly Reports in the prescribed reporting formats to GM. Serve as primary liaison with new customer for introducing the client company services and capabilities. Liaison with Municipality & other Governmental Bodies for local regulation, implementation and updating. Liaison with independent Laboratories and develop and establish good relationship with them. Assists in resolving technical issues by attending meetings and if necessary produce technical reports. Report on the Market Conditions. Coordination with Operation Managers & Technical Managers for all technical issues. Performing various task assigned by the Management from time to time.
Profile Candidate must be experienced in selling Oil & Lubricants and familiar to lubricant importers. He must have strong contacts in African and C.I.S markets to mobilise business of OEM Brand in lubricants. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience of working in a similar role within the region. The individual will be required to develope new business for OEM brand of the client company to Africa, CIS countries and MENA region. Candidate must be dedicated, passionate and aggressive in marketing with a good reporting system at the senior level management. UAE Driving licence shall be beneficial. Salary commensurate with qualification and experience. Fluency in English, intermediate level in French & Russian will be preferred.
