A leading Architectural consultant with projects and offices in the Middle East is seeking for a high qualified Resident Engineer for their offices in Oman. Masters in Architect/Civil or Bachelor in Architect/ Civil with minimum of 15 years of experience. Should have minimum 5 plus years of experience as Resident Engineer on Large commercial Projects with consulting companies.
Profile Duties included but are not limited to handle all construction contract correspondence with contractor(s), client and construction manager (if applicable).
Carry out inspections for approval of the works.
Review and action material, shop drawing, sample, mock-up etc. submittal.
Liaise with the Head Office designers and Statutory Authorities to resolve site queries.
Hold progress/coordination meetings to expedite the works.
Review and process contractor payments and variation orders.
Review and advise client on contractor claims.
